The Viper All-Stars are a competitive cheer & dance program which began with the merging of the Bel Air All-Star Junior & Youth teams with the Calvert Hall Co-ed team in 1999.

The Calvert Hall Coed Cheerleading team was under the direction of Beth Kenney for 3 years before Beto Sanchez partnered up with Beth and started coaching the team. The two went on to coach Calvert Hall together for 7 years. The Calvert Hall Coed Program was in existance for 10 years before Beth and Beto left due to an unacceptable offer made to them by the school administration. Calvert Hall then joined with the Bel Air All Stars to form the for-profit business MCA. MCA, as it is known, provides the facility and training for the Viper All-Stars.

The facility, known as The Viper Pit is located in Harford County, Maryland, and is fully equipped with a spring cheer floor, spring floor tumbling strips, tumble track, mirrored dance studio and parent observation room. Most Viper teams have two cheer practices per week and one tumbling class per week included in their monthly fee. Most of our dance teams practice once a week. Our dance teams range in all ages, and include jazz, pom and funk/hip-hop. Our teams are ranked in the nation's top 3 with some of the foremost organizations in cheerleading today, Universal Cheerleaders Association, Americheer, All Star Challange, CTC American Championships, Jamfest, World Spirit Federation, and Cheersport. We have won several 1st place, National Titles with these organizations since our inauguration in 1999,
including a Top-Ten finish at the Cheerleading Worlds.

The owners of MCA are qualified national-level cheer and dance judges. Our coaching staff brings over 55 years of combined experience in cheer, dance and tumbling instruction.

Since the merger of the two programs, several hundred cheerleaders and dancers have gone through the program. Many of the Bel Air All Stars, Calvert Hall Coed and Viper All Stars have gone on to cheer and dance for Schools such as University of Kentucky, Morehead State University, University of Delaware, James Madison University, University of Maryland College Park and Towson State. Many of our graduates and coaches cheer or dance for the NFL Baltimore Ravens.

Continued success and growth have allowed us to add teams in all age divisions for cheer and dance.
